Insurance
We are in-network with the following insurance plans:

We offer financial discounts to students and postdocs using out-of-network benefits to increase access to care and keep costs affordable.

Do you have an insurance we do not accept? Massachusetts state law requires that you have timely access to mental health services. If you have been struggling to find timely psychiatric care and we are not in-network with your insurance, it is your right to call your health insurance and request a Single Case Agreement. This will allow you to receive care with us, covered by your insurance. Click here for more information. Contact our office if you are interested.

Out-of-Network & Self-Pay Options
If we are not in-network with your insurance, you can still receive care with us by using your out-of-network benefits. Many PPO or POS plans have out-of-network benefits that cover a portion of the visit cost. We submit claims on your behalf so you only pay your portion of the cost (your coinsurance).

Costs
We price our services relative to Medicare because it provides a nationally recognized framework for valuing psychiatric care. Medicare's fee schedule is based on the time, complexity, and expertise required for different clinical services. Using this model often reduces out-of-network costs, since many insurers reference Medicare when determining benefits. ​​

Appointments with a psychiatrist are around $715 per hour, though actual costs depend on the services provided. Click here for our full cost table.

If you elect not to use a health insurance plan, or if your plan has no out-of-network benefits, we offer an automatic 25% discount on our rates.
