What to Expect at Boston Psychiatry Center
Getting Started
Call us at 617-468-5048 or request an appointment online. We often respond within 1-2 business days to connect and guide you through our onboarding process. You will have the opportunity to self-schedule an appointment with a clinician of your choosing.
Your First Visit
Initial evaluations are 60 minutes and conducted in-person at our office or via secure telehealth. Your clinician will conduct a comprehensive assessment covering your current concerns, symptoms, personal and family history, past treatments, and goals for care.
Ongoing Treatment
After your evaluation (which can span several sessions), we'll recommend a personalized treatment plan. Ongoing care may include:
-
Medication management for psychiatric medication monitoring and adjustments
-
Therapy sessions for longer-term therapeutic work
-
Combined care where your clinician provides both medication management and therapy
Our Commitment
We use validated outcome measures to track your progress throughout treatment, ensuring that our care is actually helping you meet your goals. This data-driven approach allows us to make informed adjustments and deliver better results.
