The Boston Psychiatry Center Approach

At Boston Psychiatry Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional psychiatric care. We believe meaningful treatment goes beyond writing prescriptions; it is built on a collaborative relationship. Our clinicians draw on rigorous academic training to provide expert, evidence-based care, emphasizing depth and quality rather than the shortcuts that you might find elsewhere.

Expert Care, Built on Academic Rigor

Our practice is founded and led by Harvard-trained psychiatrists who bring the highest level of clinical expertise to the Greater Boston area. We focus on medication management, psychotherapy, and diagnostic precision, informed by years of experience in leading academic medical centers. This background allows us to offer care that is both nuanced and comprehensive.

We Prioritize Time and Understanding

Effective mental health care cannot be rushed. In contrast to high-throughput clinics that rush care, we center our work on the individual. We devote the time needed to understand your history, concerns, and long-term goals. Initial consultations and follow-up appointments are intentionally structured to allow for depth, reflection, and careful clinical decision-making.

An Integrated Approach at Every Visit

We take an integrated view of treatment and do not believe in simple medication-only appointments. Therapy is incorporated into every visit, whether we are initiating treatment or assessing progress over time. By addressing thoughts, behaviors, and emotional patterns alongside neurobiology, we aim to support more durable and meaningful improvement.

Expanding Access for Aetna Members

Boston Psychiatry Center was created to help expand access to high-quality psychiatric care in the Greater Boston area. We recognize that insurance coverage can be a significant barrier to treatment, which is why we are in-network with Aetna. Partnering with Aetna allows us to make specialized, academically grounded care more accessible to patients seeking both in-person and telehealth services.
